Sarah C. (born Melbourne, Australia) is about to take the world stage and show us just how "FEARLESS" she really is. Having just completed her 5 song ep titled FEARLESS, co- produced by Australia's own Paul Cecchinelli and infused with the A&R guidance of American import, Mark Mazzetti, FEARLESS showcases Sarah's voice that is both sultry and powerful and stands as the central “instrument” and the most stirring element of this collection of pop-jazz all-original tunes. And soon, with a little more preparation, in the Spring of 2016 (dates to be announced on her website and Reverbnation page), Sarah will embark on live concert dates throughout Australia featuring her brilliant live band and will then make her way to the USA in the summer and and reach the shores of Europe by the end of the year. Sarah's fans at home in Australia are young, loyal and so passionate about her voice and her live performances and are anxious to have the FEARLESS ep in their hands very soon. Sarah says of the ep, "FEARLESS" is about going through the hardest of life's experiences, acknowledging that you are not perfect but coming out the other side a stronger, wiser version of yourself. Each song is very personal to me; they are my perspective on life, love and other stories and they all have their own unique message."
Sarah’s musical journey has been filled with a lot of loving support and a great deal of hard work. Her love of music began as far back as she can remember. Sarah’s father, Mario, aka Paul Tuisaint, was a singer who worked seven nights a week and was involved in spectacular show productions on a grand “Hollywood” scale. He worked along-side such legendary artists like MGM’s Debbie Reynolds and Broadway-great, Robert Goulet. Experiencing these greats live on stage along with their companies’ Sarah was mesmerized by the dancers’ perfect performances, their glittering costumes adorned with feathers and instantly knew that becoming a professional singer and stage performer was the life for her.
While other kids were listening to whomever the latest pop sensation was playing on the radio, Sarah was discovering and listening to Stevie Wonder, George Benson and Al Jarreau. And the first time Sarah sang on stage with her father she was just 15 years old…petrified on the one hand and fearless on the other. Sarah soon began performing on her own joining local bands and playing to mostly empty all-ages rooms and paying her dues.
In the years that followed Sarah spent her time mastering her singing and song writing crafts, experimenting with different styles working with different musicians, singers and writing collaborators. More recently, Sarah has performed backing vocals for popular TV show X Factor and alongside well-known Australian artists such as Jessica Mauboy, James Reyne, Daryl Braithwaite, Tim Campbell and Anthony Callea. While working on her original material, Sarah has been a featured vocalist on many other artist and producer recording projects in the dance/electro world of music. But now, Sarah has arrived as a full-fledged recording artist and is excited to release her ep, “FEARLESS” in the Spring of 2016. All the years of hard work have led to this moment where Sarah will express herself through the 5 original and compelling songs that comprise FEARLESS, which is the title track that is so special to her along with the R&B tinges “My Safety” – the bluesy “There Will Come A Day” – the powerful pop rhythmic song “These Are The Days” that features a masterful and dense vocal arrangement – and finally the sultry and sad “My World Was You.”
Sarah feels very fortunate to have worked with the incredibly talented musician, Paul Cecchinelli, who co-produced the ep. His impressive career has seen him tour and play with the likes of Belinda Carlisle, Suzie Quatro and Olivia Newton John to name a few. “Paul is a tremendous live musician and such a great producer and collaborator,” notes Sarah. “Paul has done an amazing job and really nurtured and honoured my vision as an artist.” And yet by some wonderful twist of fate Sarah met and began working with a man many consider “the best” in the business, Mark Mazzetti, formerly of A&M Records and Sarah’s A&R Executive and creative consultant at his US based company, Record Company In A Box. “Mark has really become a very integral piece of the puzzle,” states Sarah. He has world-class experience having worked closely with Sting, John Mayer and Janet Jackson among many other artists. Mark, like Paul, has nurtured Sarah’s vision from the A&R perspective and helped greatly to take her artistry to the highest commercial and artistic level, working closely with Sarah and her oh-so talented co-producer, Paul Cecchinelli.
In closing, Sarah says, “My hope is that these songs will inspire and empower others to live their truth, to look honestly at the world and themselves and have the courage to make the world a better place and always follow their dreams.”
